As an environmentally responsible developer, Royal Pine Homes is designing and building Capo di Monte to a LEED® Certified standard.
Over the past decade, LEED Canada has been redefining the way we think about the places where we live, work and learn. Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a third-party certification program and an internationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.
As a globally recognized mark of excellence, LEED Canada has transformed the way built environments are designed, constructed, and operated — from individual buildings and homes, to entire neighborhoods and communities.
To be LEED® certified, Capo di Monte will attain the highest standards in five key areas: in the overall sustainability of the site, in the building's water conservation protocols, in its energy efficiency and atmosphere, in its use of recycled materials and resources, in the quality of its indoor environment, and in its general innovation and design.
As a LEED® certified building, Capo di Monte will offer a healthier, cleaner environment for residents while lowering monthly utility costs by saving energy, water and other resources. In doing so, the building will reduce its carbon footprint significantly and help preserve our planet's environment for future generations.
